New Series, New Release Gyakkyou Nine
Our new project is Gyakkyou Nine (may also be known as Adversity Nine, Nine in Adversity, or All-Out Nine), a baseball comic by, once again, Shimamoto Kazuhiko. It's baseball + hot blood. Mr. translator knows it best but he's too lazy to come up with a description. But at any rate, considering this, Moeyo Pen and some other project ideas we had kicking around, we might as well change our group name to Shimamoto Scantlations.
Pretty much unknown over on this side of the Pacific, apparently Shimamoto's the God of hot blood over in jdm-land, according to the Japanese wiki. And you would not believe how much stuff we found on this guy: other comics, worked on G Gundam, produced a mascot for anime shop, worked on hot blooded delivery game and Gyakkyou Nine was even turned into a live action movie, in english! (There's a pretty good description of what the comic/movie is about in there.) So prolific!

i've really enjoyed his hot-bloodedness in the pen story. i also happened to notice takahashi rumiko's version of hot-bloodedness; she drew a little short about meeting him once way back when, translated here (issue 11, toward the bottom of the page):
